Mrs Burrage was 85 her husband 90 and they travelled between Boston and jamaica with the parrot in her handbag to evade quarantine.
She trusted it to me over a long week end to have its formal portrait painted. That is a sketch for it.
A great friend of mine, she named her dog "Bruno" when she got the next one she named it " Gwen".
